A look back at the 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival concerts

The 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival returned to live concerts after two years of online-only performances at the 2020 and 2021 MICFs. If you attended the live MILF concerts presented at the Missouri Theater, and at Sheryl Crow Hall at the Sinquefield Music Center the last week of July, you experienced firsthand the energy and excitement of these outstanding performances. Alarm Will Sound to perform eight world premiere compositions at the Missouri Theater July 30 to conclude the 13th Annual MICF

The 13th annual Mizzou International Composers Festival concludes Saturday evening, July 30 with a 7:30 Pm (CDT) concert at the Missouri Theatre by acclaimed new music ensemble, Alarm Will Sound. Under the direction of Alan Pierson, AWS will play world premiere performances by the eight MICF Resident Composers. Admission to the concert is free. 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival July 29th schedule features Laraaji in concert with Katina Bitsicas and the Onishi-Beis Duo

Tonight, the Mizzou Interational Composers Festival presents celestial-ambient music pioneer Laraaji headlining a 7:30 PM (CDT) concert at Studio 4 at McKee Gymnasium on the Mizzou campus. The July 29th concert is co-hosted by Dismal Niche Arts, and will also feature new media artist and Mizzou Assistant Professor Katina Bitsicas, and the Onishi-Beis Duo. 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival July 27th schedule features evening concert and morning Resident Composer presentations

A concert performance and Resident Composer presentations highlight activities at the 13th annual Mizzou International Composers Festival on  Wednesday, July 27th. 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival returns to live concerts starting today, July 25 and continuing through Saturday, July 30!

After two years of presenting performances online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Mizzou International Composers Festival is pleased to announce that the 13th annual MICF is returning to in-person concerts  — starting Monday evening, July 25th! The opening concert of the 2022 MICF is scheduled for 7:30 PM CDT at Sheryl Crow Hall in the Sinquefield Music Center.
